David and Goliath: Oversai’s Battle Against Outdated Business Software
Aug 19, 2024
Hi, I’m Oscar, co-founder of Oversai. The photo of Steve Jobs outside IBM’s headquarters inspires us daily. It’s a reminder that a small company can take on a big one and win.
The Enemy We're Up Against
Our Goliath is the outdated, inflexible software from legacy vendors. It's a major headache, complicating business operations and wasting valuable time. For the past 20 years, we've been building software incorrectly, creating a tangle of narrow, isolated apps. Now businesses are struggling to manage over 100 different tools just to keep operations running. It's inefficient, it's frustrating, and it's exactly what we're here to fix.
Why David Won (And Why We Will Too)
David's victory wasn't luck. He won because he had a plan and the courage to execute it. While Goliath was burdened by traditional armor and weapons, David went in light and agile. He used what he knew best - a sling and some stones. Simple, effective, and mastered through practice. That's our approach at Oversai.
Our David Mindset
We're not here to follow old rules. Legacy software is our Goliath, and like David, we're tackling it with innovative solutions. We're abandoning the conventional wisdom that led to this mess of fragmented, specialized tools. Instead, we're building agile, practical solutions that make sense. Our goal? To help our customers succeed without getting bogged down in software complexity.
The Bottom Line
We're writing our own David vs. Goliath story here at Oversai. It's not about being bigger or louder. It's about being smarter, more agile, and intensely focused on solving real problems for our customers.
We only win if our product is superior. There's no faking it in this game. Every day, we're driven by the challenge of creating something that will genuinely help our customers win.
